Description
The TBAC 22 Take Down is a multi-purpose rimfire suppressor built for shooters who actually put rounds through their gear. It keeps the same solid rifle performance as the original model, but trims the package down to 4.8 inches and 4.8 ounces—and TBAC notes it’s about 1 dB quieter on semi-auto .22 pistols.
This can is built around durability and serviceability. It uses a Grade 9 titanium tube paired with 17-4 stainless baffles for long life under high round counts, dirty ammo, and aggressive firing schedules. It’s magnum rated, 5.7×28 pistol rated, and carries a full-auto rating on .22 LR. For precision work, TBAC focuses on rock-solid POI repeatability, so it’s at home on a trainer rifle as much as a pistol host.
The 22 Take Down is fully user-disassemblable. Baffles are labeled and keyed so they go back together correctly every time, and an assembly tool is included. TBAC also uses their ULTRA baffle technology in the design—aimed at efficient suppression without sacrificing alignment and consistency.
On a typical .22 LR rifle, TBAC lists suppression down to approximately 110–114 dB(A) at the shooter’s ear.
