Thunder Beast Fly 45 Suppressor

Description

The TBAC FLY 45 is built around two goals that don’t usually live together: top-tier .45 ACP suppression and serious durability, without the weight penalty that most .45/“universal” cans carry. TBAC built the FLY 45 as a tubeless, 100% titanium body with a 360° fully-welded baffle core, keeping it light while still engineered for hard use.

It’s a modular suppressor with two configurations:

• Long for maximum suppression
• Short when you want less length and faster handling

For pistols, it ships ready to run: a .578-28 piston, booster, and booster basket are included. The booster uses high-temp 17-7 wave springs for durability, and it’s compatible with Rugged/Griffin/SilencerCo/TBAC-standard pistons, which makes it easy to support multiple handgun thread pitches without hunting proprietary parts.

For PCCs and rifle hosts, remove the booster and you’re left with a true HUB rear interface (1.375×24). That opens the door to a wide range of HUB mounting systems, including TBAC’s CB2HUB adapter for their CB muzzle devices.

What makes the FLY 45 different is the breadth of ratings. It’s hard-use / full-auto rated for 9mm and .45 ACP, and also rated on .300 Blackout (subs and supers) with published minimum barrel lengths. It’s even rated for big straight-wall and bottleneck rifle rounds like .45-70, .450 Bushmaster, .308, 6.5 Creedmoor, and .223/5.56 at 16″ minimum barrels.

Cleaning is straightforward for a titanium can: TBAC notes it can be chemically cleaned with CLR, and recommends weighing every 500 rounds and cleaning if carbon adds more than 1 oz—remove o-rings and booster parts before soaking.
