Subsonic-optimized. Ultra-quiet. Built for the hunt.
The Sub-Hunter is our dedicated subsonic suppressor, tuned for low-velocity hunting loads to be one of the lightest, quietest field suppressors we’ve run—delivering up to 40 dB of reduction over a bare muzzle with an integrated, low-profile end-cap brake that tames recoil without adding bulk.
Description
The Sub-Hunter is built for hunters who run subsonic ammo on purpose, not as an afterthought. It’s a dedicated subsonic suppressor tuned around low-velocity hunting and training loads, where true sound reduction and tone matter more than brute gas volume handling. The result is a can that’s exceptionally light, compact, and quiet in real field use—ideal for predators, hogs, and close-range work where noise discipline counts.
Instead of a large, generic blast chamber sized for everything under the sun, the Sub-Hunter uses a smaller blast chamber and a baffle stack tuned for subsonic pressure and flow. That keeps gas moving through the suppressor efficiently instead of piling up and slamming into the end cap, which is a common cause of extra recoil and sharp, unpleasant tone in suppressors that aren’t purpose-built for subs.
On the rifle, the Sub-Hunter delivers up to 40 dB of reduction over a bare muzzle, with a softer, deeper report that’s easier on your ears and less disruptive to game. Recoil and muzzle movement are knocked down along with blast, making it easier to stay in the scope, call impacts, and send confident follow-up shots when needed.
At the front of the suppressor, an integrated, low-profile end-cap brake takes over where the baffles leave off. A ring of small, threaded vents sheds gas off-axis instead of letting it hammer straight into the cap. You can run it open for maximum control, or use the supplied screws to plug individual vents and bias gas in the direction that keeps your rifle the flattest. Because the brake is built into the end cap instead of hanging off the front, you get that recoil control without giving up baffles, length, or weight.
Built as a true hunting tool, the Sub-Hunter keeps overall length and mass in check so your rifle still handles cleanly from a blind, tripod, truck window, or on foot. For shooters who spend real time behind subsonic rifles—whether under glass, thermals, or NODs—this is the suppressor we designed to live on that gun.
