Manners EH1 Composite Rifle Stock | XM-Length

Description

The Manners EH1 Composite Rifle Stock was designed from the ground up for the long-range hunter who wants a rifle that carries well and still shoots like a precision rig when it’s time to send it. These are XM-Length stocks—not XM Plus and not Medium Action—with inlet options for Rem 700 and M5.

Weight stays in a practical range for a real hunting rifle. Depending on inlet, the standard configuration with a ½” Decel pad runs 26–30 ounces. The fore-end is 1.75″ wide at the tip and transitions into a rounded beavertail profile with a flat bottom—stable on bags and field supports without feeling bulky in the hand. It’s built to accept up to a #7 / M24 barrel contour, roughly 1.125″ at the tip of the stock.

The grip is more vertical and tactical than a traditional hunting stock. It’s longer than standard, includes a small palm swell, and is trimmed down compared to Manners’ larger tactical models—giving you control behind the rifle without forcing an oversized grip into a hunting build.

Out back, the EH1’s butt is designed to track straight. The bottom of the butt has a ~¾” flat that runs true with the stock sides, so it rides a rear bag clean and predictable—less yaw, less wobble, and better follow-through when you’re trying to stay in the glass.

The EH1 is built around Remington 700 style actions, and this listing gives you both Rem 700 and M5 inlet options so you can match your action and magazine/bottom metal setup without compromise.
