Snowy Mountain Rifles Long Range Hunter 4.0 – 6.5 PRC – 20″ – F22RTi00019

Description

In stock and ready to ship. The Snowy Mountain Rifles Long Range Hunter 4.0 is chambered in 6.5 PRC with a 20″ SMR Carbon Fiber Sendero barrel and titanium action, hand-built and test-fired in our Hamilton, Montana shop. It ships to your FFL on a much shorter timeline than a full custom build—the rifle you see is the rifle you get.

The Long-Range Hunter 4.0 takes the proven Long-Range Hunter concept and puts it into a modern chassis system for hunters who want maximum versatility in the field. At its core is our SMR F-22R titanium action and 20″ SMR Carbon Fiber Sendero barrel, delivering sub 1/2 MOA performance with the same reliability we demand from our own rifles.

We drop that barreled action into an XLR Element 4.0 magnesium chassis built to SMR specs, giving you an adjustable cheekpiece, a folding stock for packability, and a rigid interface that excels off bipods, tripods, bags, and barricades. At around 6 lbs 8 oz, it stays light enough for all-day carry while offering the kind of balance and versatility serious field shooters appreciate.

For hunters who split time between the mountain and the range, who want a rifle that runs as well in a long-range class as it does on a windy ridgeline, the Long-Range Hunter 4.0 is the chassis gun we’d bring on our own hunts.

SMR Load-Development Process

Every Snowy Mountain Rifle Co. custom rifle goes through intensive load development. We spend days on your actual rifle testing different loads, seating depths, and components to find what it truly wants to shoot—then we hand you that exact recipe for your chamber, barrel, twist, and setup.

You can run it yourself on the loading bench, or let us do the heavy lifting and order rifle-matched ammo built to that proven spec.
