All-Purpose Backcountry ARCA/Picatinny Combo Rail System

The Snowy Mountain Rifle Co. All-Purpose Backcountry ARCA/Picatinny Combo Rail System is built for custom hunting rifles that need a stable support interface without unnecessary weight or bulk. It combines a 1.5″ ARCA dovetail with a forward MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny section, giving you tripod and bipod compatibility in one clean rail.

This product is available in short-action and long-action configurations. The package includes the rail only. Mounting hardware is not included.

Tripod and Bipod Compatibility in One System

The ARCA section gives the rifle a solid connection point for compatible tripod clamps, shooting supports, and ARCA-mounted accessories. The dovetail allows the rifle to be repositioned in the clamp to improve balance and stability for the shooting position in front of you.

The forward Picatinny section accepts common bipods and other MIL-STD-1913-compatible accessories. This lets you move between tripod-supported shooting and traditional bipod use without changing rails or carrying a separate fore-end adapter.

Professional Installation Recommended

Proper installation may require drilling the stock and selecting mounting hardware suited to the stock material, fore-end thickness, inlet, and internal structure. Installation will likely require an experienced gunsmith with the tooling and judgment to mount the rail correctly.

Confirm clearance around the barrel channel, action, internal magazine components, and stock structure before drilling.

All fasteners should be tightened according to the stock and hardware manufacturer’s torque specifications. Do not assume a universal torque value across different stock and hardware combinations.
